MY CONTEST: COVER CONTEST


So, what I want for you to do is to design the cover of your story!!!! XDD No need to say: I havent finished develop my story yet. What I need is a picture THAT can be a cover of your story. That means all people who seen it will get a glimpse of your story. Thats the real point!!!



DREAM.DESIGN.DELIVER

Just think that your story is going to be published soon!!! WOW!! Maybe its a comic/manga/novel. So now you need a cover for ur story! That pic is going to be your main weapon to make people get a glimpse of ur artwork and story - and at least - take ur book from the display table to see it more clearly and maybe read the simple synopsis at the back of the book. 8DDDDDDDD

SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS

a FRONT cover design for ur story. NO NEED to make the BACK cover too

In that picture, you HAVE TO PUT THE TITLE OF YOUR STORY AND YOUR NAME/ PEN NAME. Just like a real published book! 8DD

About the title: Well, if you have A LOGO for the title, OF COURSE you can use it!! ^^ But if not and you dont want to make it, you can put the title using Arial ot Times New Roman only LOL as long as you put the title there . But I'm going to judge this factor too.

If you want to put additional stuff in ur cover, just go on ^^ (Example: Volume of the book: volume 1, etc. Or maybe a simple sentence like: "The war of the world", blah blah blah XDD)

Then, you have to post it in ur account, and at the artist comment, YOU HAVE TO WRITE THE GENRE OF YOUR STORY. Put every genre that you think suits ur story: horror, fantasy, mystery, comedy, romance, etc etc etc etc....

Can be in colored or black and white, up to you

Can be done in collaboration with your partner

well, this time I cant say that I dont accept hentai/ porn things. I can say nothing if your story has that genre too So I still ACCEPT it. If the cover DOES contain HENTAI THINGS, dun forget to put it to mature content. (hoping no one's story contains ecchi.... )

BUT.... just remember one thing: DONT break deviantart's policy! NO ART THEFT PLZ.

It may be a doujinshi, BUT every character in that cover HAVE TO BE your Original characters for the story.

The picture for the contest HAS TO BE A NEW ARTWORK (or at least have never been posted in DA,so I never see it hehehehehhe ^^)

The correlation between the picture, the logo and the genre of the story
The logo design of the title
The overall look of the submission as a cover
creativity and effort
originality, uniqueness, etc etc etc XD
